Fruity and candy-like lip balms only make you lick your lips more and worsen the problem. They also have potentially harmful chemicals that you’re ingesting each time you lick your lips and swallow.
A quality lip balm should moisturize and hydrate without trying to appeal to your stomach. Two more things to avoid in a lip balm: parabens and phthalates.
2. Eat a Healthy Diet
