Although the science behind facial exercises is a mixed bag, this doesn’t stop guys from trying them in order to achieve slimmer cheekbones or put a stop to their forehead wrinkles.

Maybe they work, or maybe they don’t. Either way, it doesn’t hurt to try a few facial exercises in an attempt to achieve a chiseled look.

To get the most out of your face workout, here is what you need to know about face exercises for men:

  • If your goal is to attract women, try face exercises that work your jaw muscles.
  • Stick with your face exercises daily by combining them with another daily routine.

Tip #1: Minimize Forehead Wrinkles

Are you beginning to see signs of wrinkles on your forehead? You’re not alone.

Due to the differences in how men and women age, the forehead is where most guys begin noticing signs of aging.

In fact, a 2013 study published in Dermatologic Surgery found that forehead wrinkles can show up in guys as early as their 20s (see claim: “Very fine wrinkles on the forehead are visible in men in the youngest age group, 20-29, whereas forehead lines in women are first evident between 40 and 49.”)

Tip #3: Combine Your Face Exercises with Healthy Habits

Unfortunately, facial exercises alone aren’t usually enough to get a toned face. To maximize the impact of your face exercises, you should also eat a healthy diet, follow a simple skin care regimen and focus on breaking a sweat every day.

Some face exercises can potentially make your wrinkles worse if you’re not careful, which is why some experts believe that relaxation techniques and facial massages are more preferable.
